PrinterOn Education software consists of several components which work together to enable web-based printing from laptops and tablets.
- Central Print Services – includes the PrinterOn Education web printing portal which you host on your network to offer document printing services to users and the PrinterOn Administration Console
- PrintAnywhere Server – adds Internet and wireless printing into your web services or back-end applications
- Print Delivery Station – collects print jobs and provides secure release capability
- Apache Tomcat Web Server – open source software for mission-critical web applications
PrinterOn Education can be configured off-the-shelf for several popular system integration models or customized as needed using the available HTML / Java source code.
PrinterOn Education may be hosted in multiple local or remote network scenarios and has been designed for optional integration with existing campus infrastructures, including LDAP and Print Cost Recovery Systems.
